Lora Reid began her health journey several years ago after battling personal health issues to include being over-weight, diagnosed with pre-diabetes, kidney stones and high inflammation.  By implementing lifestyle changes with her diet and exercise habits, she was able to improve her health.

     Through research and actively pursuing answers to her problems, she decided to write a book to teach others how to improve their health.  It is entitled, “The Transition Book:  I Want to be Healthy but Where Do I Begin”.  With the world-wide spread of the Covid-19 virus, Lora felt the need to continue to assist those in her community with ways to improve and maintain a healthy immune system.  She followed her first book with, "Simple Solutions for Optimal Health and Immunity" which is filled with information that can help everyone improve their immunity.

      Lora continued her education by obtaining her certification as a Health Coach and Essential Oil Coach. With these skills, she is able to educate others on how to make the best choices for their health and well-being. 

     Lora lives in Wilmington, North Carolina and works to help those she meets make better health and lifestyle choices.

Lora received her Essential Oil Coach Certification from The Essential Oil Institute, founded by Dr. Josh Axe, DNM, DC, CNS, a certified doctor of natural medicine, doctor of chiropractic and clinical nutritionist with a passion to help people get healthy by using food as medicine.  The Essential Oil Institute is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners which provides advanced training on herbs and essential oils.

Lora received her Health Coach Certification from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, founded by world-renowned physician and author, Dr. William Sears. The Institute is a leader in science-based health and wellness education that focuses on the four pillars of health; Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition (L.E.A.N.).  A certification by the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute is obtained only after completing the extensive course work and meeting all requirements.  Once certified, a Health Coach possesses the knowledge, tools and resources to make a positive difference in the health of others.
